Description:

VEB Deutsche Seereederei of Rostock, East Germany's 1971 Wismar built FURSTENBERG, which was planned to be delivered as BABELSBERG, passing Portishead outbound from Avonmouth exactly fifty years ago today, on 1st January 1974.

Later: 1990 SU RONG (Jiangsu Marine Shipping Co., Nanjing)

On 20th March 1992, during a voyage from Dalian to Inchon, SU RONG touched bottom and was beached, later capsizing and sinking
