Federal Steam Navigation Co. Ltd.'s 1971 Bergen built reefer WILD AUK inbound for Rotterdam early on 28th May 1975 at the end of a voyage from Los Angeles. She sailed from Rotterdam on 31st May for Cape Town to load cargo for Brest, then proceeding to the River Tyne. Then briefly laid up in the River Blackwater, her next port of call was again Rotterdam, arriving on 18th August 1975 to load her next cargo.
