Med Line, operated by the "London Greek" owner D.Th.Petropoulos, had owned the 1936 Haverton Hill built SUNNY MED, the former SYRIAN PRINCE, from 1959 to 1964. She had arrived at Avonmouth on 10th January 1964 from Taranto with general cargo and was here photographed by Ray Perry on 11th January, exactly sixty years ago today.

Later in 1964 , she was sold to trade as DINOS until finally sailing from Alexandria on 19th October 1969 for Savona, where she arrived six days later for breaking
