REQUEST to identify the location in Egypt please, Port Said? Alexandria? Elsewhere?
At the far left side, those tall radio masts and one or two naval ships are a clue.

Circa 1968, possibly at Port Said, Egypt.

The name translates to ''Algeria' in English, and was the second of two passenger/cargo ships built for the The United Arab Maritime Co., Alexandria, Egypt.
(The first being the 'Syria'.)

Keel laid in 1961, launched on 02/02/1962, and completed on 28/08/1962, by Deutsche Werft, Finkenwarder, Germany (794)
4,444 g.t. & 1,327 dwt.,
Passengers: 30 1st. class, 108 2nd class & 400 3rd class in dormitories, as:
'Algazayer' until 29/08/1993, when she was sold to Egyptian breakers for demolition.
01/02/1994, work began at Alexandria.
