Description:
Nigerian NDONI RIVER is here seen in June 1997 while passing Skagen; the northernmost tip of Denmark.
This vessel was built 1979 by Hyundai, Ulsan, as RIVER ABOINE for Nigerian National Shipping Line. She was one of several sister vessels built for Nigeria by Hyundai.
Sold 1989 to Aerobell (Nigeria) Ltd, and renamed NDONI RIVER.
In 1999 she went to Malta flag owners, and was renamed to the optimistic name MEGALUCK.
11.10.2003 she arrived at Alang, India for demolition.
