Sold for service in Nigeria in 1997 both "HMAV Arakan" and her sister ship "HMAV Ardennes" both never made the journey and instead remained in the port of Lowestoft.
Pictured here moored at Lowestoft just 3 months prior to her final voyage to the breakers.
