Greek Freedom I-type PERICLES HALCOUSSIS is here seen at Durban Roads sometime during the second half of 1974, exact date unknown.
This vessel was built 1972 by IHI, Tokyo and was of 15 126 t.dw.

She was sold already in 1975 to India Steamship Co, India, and was renamed INDIAN FAME.
In 1991 she went to Malta-flag owners, who renamed her KAVERI.

Arrived at Calcutta, India 24/9-1996 for demolition, which commenced in March 1997.
