Denicilik Bankasi's 1955 Bremerhaven built passenger liner EGE was also photographed on 23rd December 1975. However, this alternative photograph, taken on 5th September 1977, is far better.

EGE suffered an engine room fire on 26th April 1981 when off Zonguldak; she was sold to the Turkish Navy in 1984 renamed ERKIN, replacing the 1938 built ERKIN 2 (ex Trabzon-67 ex Imperial-49), scrapped at Aliaga in May 1984.
