Greek PEARL BAY is here seen on the Weser River in September 1982.
This vessel was built 1971 at Helsingør, Denmark, as DAGNY SKOU for the Danish owner Ove Skou.

In 11/1977 she had a serious fire, and was condemned and sold to breakers. However, she was sold again for further trading, and following a lengthy repair/rebuilding, she was put back in service again in 1979/80 as PEARL BAY.
In 1987 she became FLORES (Malta), and in 1989 she was sold to China and renamed LONG PING.

In 10/1998 she was reported sold to Chinese breakers.
