Description:

Medomsley Shipping Company (Van Ommeren)'s 1954 Alblasserdam built CROWBOROUGH BEACON, which was lengthened in 1961, had sailed from Avonmouth on 5th April 1964 in ballast for the United States following discharge of a cargo of ore concentrate loaded at Port Pirie in Australia. Here, she is seen sailing from Auckland in June 1966.

Sailed from Recife on 8 June 1978 for Shanghai, calling at Hong Kong on 5 August, and scrapped at Shanghai
