Description:
Any Grey Funnel line experts can help to identify the location, & the main, central vessel here please?
1963, Alexandria, Egypt.
** Now partly identified as one of two Russian (Black Sea Fleet) built Project 30Bis destroyers sold to Egypt.**
Other similar destroyers had previously been sold to Egypt as part of their El Nasser Class, and I think, destroyed.
In 1962 Egypt received:
1) Damiet 844, ex Besposhchadny (Беспощадный)
&
2) El Nasser 666, ex Otchayanniy (Отчаянный)
I believe it is one of these two.

--------------------------------
Circa 1963-1965, at an unknown location. Possibly at Alexandria, Egypt, Naval harbour, prior to a reinforced breakwater/mole being built.
A busy naval harbour scene in an area protected by a large, wide, breakwater.
The larger warship in the centre of the image has an unusual squared off stern.
It is flying an ensign at the stern, the predominant colours *seem* to be read and green OR red, white and blue - depending on how you look at it, although this could be a err, red herring...
Towards the stern, a workboat , or perhaps a bunkering tanker, lies alongside, close by.
A smaller, single funnelled warship is at anchor beyond the large ship.
A floating drydock is also anchored in the harbour, beyond the large ship.
Scanned from a poor quality slide in the collection of the late Niels Anker Larsen, former Danish Merchant Navy Radio Officer.
