Great shot. Looks cold out there. Never seen a ship that says Dangerous Goods before.

You're right.
We sometimes see 'Dangerous Cargo' on superstructures of tankers.

Must have been a tad chilly there today?. one reason I have not been out taking photos, I leave it to the brave ones.

Thanks Kent.

More than a tad cold I would say. Not a sign of spring that's for sure!

Marc, did you get the Arctic yesterday, :-? I was on the phone with a pilot in Trois Rivieres earlier in the day he said he was bringing her up to 109, they docked at 1600.

No I didn't but I think she's leaving tomorrow so I might get a crack at her weather depending naturally.

Cheers,

Great photo Marc!
It is stunning to see how much water is brought up by the bulbous bow and the little wake turbulence behind modern ships.

Actually she was moving only at 6 knots as she was killing time in order to meet MONTREAL EXPRESS below Cap St.Michel where the channel runs straight for a few kilometers. Ships cannot meet either one of the three 294-meter container ships that run to Montréal regularly in winding areas of the river.
