USS Oriskany, CV-34 in mothballs at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington 1994. She was the last of the Essex Class carriers in reserve at this facility. Only 2 years before she shared the yard with the Hornet, CVS-12, Bennington, CVS-20 and BonHomme Richard, CVA-31. Oriskany would be transfered to the Mare Island Shipyard in Vallejo, California by the next year. The Sacremento Class AOE USS Camden, AOE-2 is across the pier. Decommissioned 29 September 2005, at Pier Delta at Naval Base Kitsap, Bremerton, WA, she would be sold to to ESCO Marine, Brownsville, TX on 13 April 2007 for scrapping.
