2006 Sustained an engine failure 23/12/2006 in the Bay of Bengal off Mullaittivu,Sri Lanka.and anchored awaiting tug assistance,Boarded by rebels from the Liberation Tigers of Tamil and te crew of 25 were abducted.The vessel was allowed to drift and subsequently grounded and stores and equipment ware looted.The crew were relaesed the following day.Marine News 3-200
