Description:
One of the slides from my late uncle who worked on the floating crane of Seebeckwerft (now: SSW Schichau Seebeck Shipyard GmbH) since the late 1940ies. Workers got these photos when our vessels were delivered. Before my uncle died he donated them to me as nobody else in the family wanted them.
Built by Seebeckwerft in 1966 for National Shipping Company Karachi.

nette Erinnerung, eines der Schiffe, das ich in meinem ersten Shipspotting Jahr 1970 gesehen habe, damals noch ganz neu. Heute würde ich weit reisen für so ein schönes Schiff.

da hast Du Recht. Bin froh, dass ich die Photos von meinem Onkel geschenkt bekam. Sonst wären sie wohl für immer verschwunden. Ich arbeite noch heute auf dieser Werft. Haben 2 Pleiten überstanden. Demnächst ist bei uns Stapellauf.
