Thanks Chris for sharing.
Do you know what is the destination? Arctic?

I think she went to Sydney, Nova Scotia. I was talking to my brother and he said a large Coast Guard vessel went in there today.

Dean

You were right Dean....
I had a chance to check this morning and your brother may be right as the Louis is not in drydock.
Cheers

Thank-you for your comment Dan...
I always look forward to hearing from you when posting CCGS shots. As i worked from home today and so didn't cross the bridge or go downtown i can not say for certain but i suspect she was heading for the drydock at the Irving yard. I should be able to confirm my hunch tomorrow and will let you know.
Regards
Chris C.

You know, i'm a little crazy about the coast guard. And you post picture of almost the best ship of the fleet. Here in quebec region, we got a few ships but all sister ship having the same look. The dartmouth base have a variety of vessel and i have to admit, the cornwallis and Alexander were built in my hometown, i'm a little nostalgic about it.
So keep posting, you will have at least have one maniac looking through you shots!!
Thanks
Take care
Dan B
