Nice shot of a great looking SHIP (that's right, ship not boat! - yep, I've been following the discussion on the forum!)
Anyway just to clear up any confusion the Zeeland shown was built 1989 with yd/no 233, LR/IMO No 8901913, 6128gt and 113.97m loa. She has never been called anything else - ie NOT ex Nadir.
An earlier and slightly smaller Zeeland was built at the same shipyard in 1984 (yd/no 214) and later became Nadir in 1989 (Russ flag)and is still in service today as Fin Whale (Comoros flag). LR/IMO No for this vessel is 8314299, 3142gt and 93.91m loa. The Nadir was a common visitor to Lerwick during the early 1990s during the klondying years.
