Beautiful shot! But why is there water spraying all across her deck?

Thanks, glad you liked it.

From what I understand, they spray the decks to cool them and prevent the topside metal from expanding. This expansion can lead to problems getting through the locks from what I've read. I guess the ship bows as the top becomes longer - makes the bow draft slightly deeper I would imagine. Kind of makes sense but I only read this from one source - need to confirm.
