Great photo, Mr Cranfield. I sailed on the Sigrid in 1994, when it was sold by a British shipbroker in Plymouth to Haitian purchasers in Miami, Florida. We sailed her, a crew of four, across the Atlantic over 28 days, averaging about 7 knots from her beautiful Deutz engine. I filled the leaky thing up with oil every day. We also carried 20 drums of extra fuel which I siphoned into the main tanks sucking on a thin plastic hose. Good times! Many more stories to tell about that voyage - the last great voyage of the Sigrid.
