She was built by VEB Warnowwerft at Warnemunde in East Germany in 1971 for the USSR Leningrad based fleet operated by the Baltic Shipping Company.
In 1997 she became EUROSHIPPING 6 in the fast growing but shortlived fleet of Euroshipping A/O of Russia and arrived at Alang on 17.1.99 for breaking.
