When this ship was built late 70's I believe she was a proud for the farose..and I remember her coming to Hirtshals with the hold full of frozen prawns from the Greenland waters.
Her name was TN 245 "Solborg"...and she was red !
Later she was sold to Greenland and became the present name.
In 1988 I had the pleasure to sail on her on a trial, after she had finished a stay on shipyard in Denmark..

She was built in 1977 in Norway. In 1979 she burned out while fishing in Greenland. The fire started in the factory. She was towed by another faroese prawn trawler V. U. Hammershimb to the Faroe Islands. Then towed to Norway to be rebuilt. She was also lenghtened so her hold went from 400 to 500 tons.
