Description:

IMO#5077979
399 g.t. built 1957. Lovely British coaster owned by Jeppeson Heaton of London.
Seen here at Newhaven on a gloomy yet atmospheric 27/12/82.
Unusual that up to this time she had always traded under the same name.
**This 'British' coaster was of course built in Holland at "De Rietpol", Spaarndam. Renamed Femi-'90 and broken up in Italy '97. Thanks to P. Arendz for the info**

For the sake of being complete with the info: The first six years of her career she sailed as Con-Zelo for dutch owners and under dutch flag.
Best regards, Jan

Lovely British coaster, we had similar on the St. lawrence at one time, just a tad smaller, they were called river schooners, (Goelettes in French)family owned, its great to see this type of vessel once more, for economic reasons they no longer sail here on the St. Lawrence river in Quebec.
