Hi all iam captain deemoss this is my nick name i was the chief officer of this ship (heliopolis wind) and iwas her last chief cause i laid it up my self with the late captain abd elhameed and i rember that day i cried cause i loved this ship alot also i was her chif officer when she got holed in alexandria and engine room completeily flooded while anchored in home port and i rember that day well it was a storm

This was nice series of vessels for Bulgaria and Sudan from Uljanik shipyard.

Great photo of that lovely ship.
I saw her later often as Heliopolis Wind in river Schelde in the 90 ies.
