The large and impressive APL vessel PRESIDENT JACKSON rounding the last turn in the Savannah channel before the downtown area. She made quite an entrance...probably the tallest superstructure and profile even though she is smaller than most of the vessels that came in on this day.
Built in 1988 in Germany, she and her sister vessels were the largest container vessels at that time before being eclipsed by the Maersk M-Class.

She is completely crewed by American officers and crew.
