The barge McAsphalt 401 with its tug John Spence docked at Sarnia, Ontario on September 2, 2007. Built in 1972 the John Spence is one of a large number of tugs owned by McKeil Work Boats of Hamilton, Ontario. It is paired with the barge McAsphalt 401 built in 1966 and owned by McAsphalt Marine Transportation Ltd. of Scarborough, Ontario.
