Known as Celtic Bulk Carriers and concentrated on running out to the Nopac with Steel and homewards to , mainly Cardiff, and Antwerp with Lumber. However, everything started to go wrong when they took on , I believe, four "Panamaxes" on long term time-charter , at least two years, at the top of The Market, only for the Market to go through the floor the next months :-o They should have known better. Anyway, the Irish Governemnt , who owned Irish Shipping said "no more" and that was that :-( From memory, again, Meadowside Quay was tidal and you sat on very soft mud at low water. Think the draft alongside at High Water was about 28'6" . Anyway all gone now. Probably a nice wee wine bar selling "Buckie" on "the rocks" :-D
