She was not broken up - she still existed alongside at The Shore, Leith in September 2017 with a taller superstructure and no proper funnel. "Ristorante De Niro" painted midships. Also seems to be known as "Cruz". Whether she is still there I know not.

I visited this vessel on 3-11-05. The superstructure has been replaced and she currently lacks a funnel. The boiler has been cut up. There is a large space in front of the intact engine room and it is intended to glass this in as a "feature". I took several photographs (film not digital) and they have not come out of the soup yet.

I think this is a case of watch this space.

I read that ocean Mist was to undergo a 500,000 pound refit, I now see that its not going to happen.

She was the OCEAN MIST which I think was Clyde built but can/t remember her original name.
She latterly became a restaurant in the revamped Leith area in Edinburgh but I now believe recently she has or is about to be broken up.

The steamer, 'Ocean Mist' was built in 1919 by George Brown & Co, Greenock. It was originally named 'Samuel Green' and was built for the Navy, but the 1st World War was over by the time it was completed, so it was sold as a yacht.
