Falmouth, 31st July 1986.

9,387 grt built in 1972 by Swan Hunter Shipbuilders Ltd at Walker.
Owner: Union Steam Ship Company, London.
Flag: United Kingdom.
She was originally used on the Wellington-Lyttelton, New Zealand ferry service before being withdrawn in 1976.
She returned to the United Kingdom where she was chartered for use as a floating accommodation ship at Loch Kishorn. She arrived at Sullom Voe 2/10/1978 for service as an accommodation ship.
Chartered 15/5/1982 by the Ministry of Defence for service as a troopship in the Falklands Conflict, although this role was later changed to that of an accommodation ship. Blue Star Ship Management Ltd. appointed managers. Arrived at Port Stanley 11/7/1982 and remained there until 26/9/1983. Upon her return to the United Kingdom, she was refitted by Harland and Wolff Ltd., Belfast, following which she arrived at Falmouth 30/3/1984 to lay up.
Renamed Queen M. in 1986 and Carlo R. in 1990.
Sold by auction in 10/ 2001 for £500,000 to Oberon Cruise Line, Limassol, Cyprus and renamed Alexander the Great.
Broken up at Aliaga in 2005.
