1945 Built by Harland & Wolff Ltd. Belfast as EMPIRE FALKLAND (U.K.) for the Ministry of War Transport, London and managed by Turnbull, Martin & Co. Glasgow. 1946 Sold to Cayzer, Irvine & Co. Ltd. Glasgow (Scottish Shire Line Ltd.) and renamed STIRLINGSHIRE (U.K.). 1960 Transferred to Houston Line Ltd. same name. 1966 Broken up at Bruges.

Looks like a typical War-time job so '45 would be about right. There may have been some modification to the wheelhouse as it has nice big windows and the Monkey Island seems to have had a wheelhouse added to it.
