Is this 1933 Blohm & Voss built Caribia? She had a sister, Cordillera, also built in 1933 by Blohm & Voss. Both sailed for Hapag. Caribia became a Soviet vessel in 1946 under the name Iliych and was deleted from Lloyd's Register in 1983.
Cordillera was bombed in Swinemünde in March 1945, salvaged by the USSR in 1949, and after lengthy repairs became the Russ in 1955. Russ was sold for scrap in 1979 to Ichon.
