Description:

Canadian flagged tug HAIDA CHIEFTAN sits at the Allied Shipyards in North Vancouver, getting a refit and a repaint. Built in 1944 at the Levingston Shipbuilding yard in Orange, Texas, (as the N.R. Lang) the old girl is still in operation on the British Columbia coast. She is 42 m in length, 561 GT, and is powered by a single 2320 BHP diesel engine.
