Description:
Commissioned to Royal Navy 1961 under pennant S12, decommissioned and sold to Canada for use as a training platform in 1988. Olympus has been laid up here in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, for about ten years after the other 3 Canadian O-boats were decommissioned between 1998 and 2000.
She's in pretty rough shape and, although it can't be seen in this photo, is listing to starboard.
Also laid up here are Ex-HMCS Ojibwa, Onondaga and Okanagan. Terra Nova and Gatineau are just to the right.
