Vessel inbound is OOCL Hong Kong on her first call at the Port of Halifax.The facility on the right is the Bedford Institute of Oceanography (BIO) with research vessels secured alongside. The Bedford Basin was the assembly point of Trans-Atlantic convoys to Britain in both WW1 and WW2.
