Hello Allan, many thanks for posting TANGSHAN at Birkenhead in 1978

- as with ARAMON, which you had kindly posted here a few weeks ago,I had photographed her sailing from Birkenhead on that voyage, but only in black &white

by the way, this ship was one of those which had sported "the thoughts of Chairman Mao" on her bridge front a few years previously

Hi Allan,
many thanks for posting that great photo.
She was one of the good ships I saw on my first whit saturday at river Elbe in 1970, where plenty of ships went out ot the port of Hamburg, and all of them as beautiful like this one.
