WELCOME TO SHIPSPOTTING.COM
Description:
PIVA is seen in Alfred Basin, Birkenhead, on 27th April 1987, arriving with a cargo of animal feedstuffs loaded in India.
Built by Austin & Pickersgill at Sunderland in 1979, she was completed in February 1980 as BELLOC for Lamport & Holt Line of Liverpool.
She was soon sold, in 1981, to Prekookeanska Plovidba of Bar, Montenegro, Yugoslavia, subsequently becoming RIO.B in 1992.
Yong Shun Shipping purchased her in 2000, when she was renamed PANGANI, and from 2002 she was operated by the Chinese-Tanzanian Joint Service, still under the Singapore flag.
Equasis shows that she was sold to KSH Shipping in 2004, without change of name, and in November 2006 to Tough Trader Maritime, still of Singapore, when she was renamed TOUGH TRADER managed by Marachart Shipping of Metamorfosi, Athens.
TOUGH TRADER is currently reported on the West African coast - destination unknown - updates would be welcomed
