Description:

Northbound in The Sound 2008-06-08. This little tug was towing the Danish schooner HAVET. I can guess that the HAVET has been bought by British interests. Can anyone tell me more about this? The MADOG is called "stern trawler" and "research" in LR, but here she was a tug!

As can be seen she was originally named 'Prince Madog' and was operated by the University of Bangor, North Wales as a research vessel for students of Marine Biology, until replaced by a new vessel of the same name. Hope this helps.
