Sailled in c-3's for 6 years. This ship for 4 of them. Was third mate to Chief Mate mostly to West and South Africa.

Back in 1967 I was a passenger on this ship along with my family. We were returning from Brisbane Australia to the United States. The shipboard radio operator, Walter, was nice enough to let me shortwave listen in the radio room when he was off watch. As a kid I thought Walt had the greatest job on earth, Vendel

Once I can afford a better quality scanner...., most of my prints are from a litte box brownie,or something around that vintage.

Love those Farrell C-3s. I have some of them on original Kodachrome slides in my collection.
Is it possible to produce a less grainy scan?
