Hi Allan

Weather looks good for her departure - notice the fog horn is sounding at the moment so things may have changed since 09.00 :-)

I was going to go down to North Shields to take some photographs of her departure but was sleeping off a night out in Tynemouth!

Regards

Steve Ellwood

Hi Steve,

Glad the fog lifted. Looking east from Hebburn at 7 this morning it looked like it would never lift, but the power of the sun prevailed. Still a bit hazy at 9am but at least I could see ships :-)

Cheers

Allan.
