Hello Joe - it might just be a good idea to indicate when you took the photo!

If she is MAERSK MYKONOS she has made 10 calls in New Jersey (presumably at Elizabethport) since 3/2007. I do not think that she has ever been to Port Elizabeth under that name. On the other hand, she has about 9 Maersk sisters.

Hi Joe,

BUFFALO is an another type new one, built in 2007. This is one of the old M-type from the late 80´s. In my eyes the name on the stern looks like MAERSK MYKONOS (just written in Greek letters). Which also fits the result: according to Maersk schedule, MAERSK MYKONOS has been in Newark on August 3rd while MAERSK BUFFALO has been in Port Elizabeth in South Africa. Think your photos stand from the state of New Jersey (there is an another Elizabethport I think).

WOW!!! I am so impressed at the amount of information at this site. I was hesitant to post but these Maersk vessels are so popular. I am sure you are right when I tried zooming in it looks more like Mykonos but couldn't be sure. I am 100% certain. I will update later. When I googled Port Elizabeth there is a city in S.A. In New Jeresy there is two ports at this location at this location Port Elizabeth and Port Newark.. I find Port Newark (just north) is a RO/RO port. I was only at this location hoping to find new location but I think I will stay at the Kill Van Kull for now :-)

Thanks Again! Joe B.
