Built in 1958 as Buries Marks' LA FALDA, she was sold in 1964 to National Shipping Corporation of Pakistan to become their RUPSA. On November 6, 1976, she became a constructive total loss following a collision with AGELOS RAPHAEL on the St.Lawrence River. In 1977, she was bought by Paul-Émile Caron of Louiseville, Québec, who had her repaired at Sorel to become CARON P.E. In 1980, he sold her to Maldives Shipping Co who renamed her MALDIVE IMAGE.
