SEKME-TREIMANI scrap tow proceeding upbound on the St.Lawrence River off Verchères on September 10, 2008.
Both former Lithuanian-flag trawlers owned by Sheduva North Atlantic were abandoned by their owners at Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, in 2001 (reason?) and were being towed by COMMODORE STRAITS assisted by RADIUM YELLOWKNIFE to Port Colborne, Ontario, to be broken up.

The crew abandoned because the owners did not pay them. I can tell you the people of Bay Roberts are happy they are gone, they've been there 7 years. Thanks for posting and giving a update to where they are.
