Description:
145 g.t. built 1945 by Pollock at Faversham.
Steam 'Victualling Inshore Craft' used mainly by the Admiralty at Rosyth as an ammunitions carrier. This wonderful vessel was taken into preservation in 1978 and is sometimes to be seen in steam on the Thames, as here on 12/6/05 passing Silvertown with the remains of one of the great flour mills in what was London's Royal Victoria Dock in the background.
