I've never heard of "Kamsar" types. So took a look at the Tsuneishi Shipbuilder website. Fascinating that bulkers afford such comfort & luxury for the crew. Looks like a cruise ship accommodation. I always wondered about those oddly shaped bridge wings - now I know why ! And what about that weird contraption attached behind the propeller.

Wolfgang - Very good photograph and in case you interested the larger "Panamax" types are know as

"L.M.E.". Large , Modern , Economical"

They are now bring in to service 82/83,000 dwat "Panamax" which are known as "Kamsar" types (largest ships that can get into Kamsar in Guinea .
