WELCOME TO SHIPSPOTTING.COM
Description:
Sorry for the poor quality, this is a scan from a paper print.
This photo is of a hull which later became the STA brig PRINCE WILLIAM. It was taken by me on May 11, 1996 at the Neptun Werft facilities at Rostock on the eastern shore of the Warnow river. See comments at:
http://www.shipspotting.com/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=789891
Because most posters of photos of both vessels seem to belief that they were built by Appledore Shipbuilders in the UK I think it is of interest to know how they looked before rebuilding.

Thanks a lot. Now I’ve found page 22 of Schiffahrt international 2/96.
There building No. 6441 is the NEPTUN BARONESS
and building No. 6442 is the NEPTUN PRINCESS.
This photo probably shows the NEPTUN BARONESS because we can assume that she has not change position when the other one arrived (could not get close to her because I was on a yacht passing by). In the second (later) photo the vessel moored alongside her is building No. 6442, NEPTUN PRINCESS. The photo showing both vessels was taken from my kayak. While paddling I could touch the vessels and took some close-up shots.
Si mentiones as orderer / owner the SS „Neptun Baroness“ Verwaltungs GmbH & Co. Segelbetriebs KG (Kooperation BV/NIR) and a year before it was SS „Neptun Baroness“ Verwaltungs GMBH / NSB and SS „Neptun Princess“ Verwaltungs GMBH / NSB.
Regards,
Werner
