Originally "Nagtoralik", GR7-191 of Manitsoq, Greenland. Today fishing offshore Libya as "Misurata". Renamed to "Perquk" in 1991, sold to Iceland in 1993 and renamed to "Hafrafell" and in 2000 renamed to "Sveinn Rafn". Later on sold to Libya and named to "Misurata".
31 x 8 m. Lengthened to 38 x 8 m in 1986. 390 tonnes.
Designed by Ole Steen Knudsen and build in 1978 as no. 114 at Esmadan Yard (later EOS Shipyard and today Semco Maritime in Esbjerg, Denmark) for Manitsoq Trawl A/S as factorytrawler for shrimp fishing offshore Greenland. DNV Iceclass 1C. Main engine 1.100 HP Grenaa Diesel (overhauled 2009). Generator sets by Scania Diesel. Brattvaag winches. HMF crane.
Had two sister vessels also build for Greenland; "M. Rakel" of Ilulissat and "Lutivik" of Sisimiut. Both are scrapped today, and was replaced by new vessels from Langsten Shipyard, Norway in 1985.
Info by Christian Bollerup, Hvide Sande, Denmark as the first owner and partner in Manitsoq Trawl A/S.
