Seen at Heritage Wharf on Lake Union, Seattle, Washington on March 10th, 2009.
The Arthur Foss is an extremely historic vessel for numerous reasons. For one, she is the only 19th century wooden tugboat in the US still in operating condition. She is also the only vessel still in existence that participated in the Alaska Gold Rush of 1898, she starred in the 1933 movie Tugboat Annie, and finally was also the last vessel to escape Wake Island prior to the Japanese invasion during World War II.

Hi Kyle, such a lovely lady even if she is not young anymore, she still has a magnificient figure very rare in most of the more recents tugs. Very well preserve and hope will continue to be so. Very nice shot of such a rare but proud and stylish old lady!
