River Princess ran aground off Fort Aguada (Goa, India) in June 2000, and has remained there ever since. On 28 Feb 2009, the Goa govt. declared it a state disaster. This allows funds (approx. 70 crore Rupees is needed) to be obtained fromt eh Central govt.

She has not yet been broken down or towed away due to a lack of funds and other controversies (as she changed hands between Chowgules, Jaisu shipping...)
