Royal Iris (of the Mersey) ending a cruise up the Manchester Ship Canal from Liverpool at the undignified location of a disused derelict quayside some distance short of her intended destination at Salford Quays. The intended moorings could not be reached due to the failure of the Millennium lift bridge at the entrance to Salford Quays to operate. 9 May 2009.
