Thanks for your comment. These small ex-Japanese reefers with derricks still bring fish into Bangkok, which makes me very happy, because I enjoy eating their cargo just as much as I enjoy seeing the ships ! As you say, Bangkok is still good for ships with masts and derricks, as many ships still anchor in mid-river and work cargo to and from barges using their own gear. Bagged rice and timber are the main cargoes to be worked this way, but things like steel coil and tapioca are seen too. I'll try to post some more photos from my collection soon !
