Description:

ARISTANDROS as shown while departing Montréal on September 25, 1965.
Built in 1940 as Wilh Wilhelmsen's TULANE, she was taken over by the Kriegsmarine and converted to a Sperrbrecher (#16). Retroceeded to Wilhelmsen after the war, she traded as TULANE until sold in 1985 to Michail Karageorgis who renamed her ARISTANDROS as depicted here. She was broken up at Shanghai in 1970.
